Essential track maintenance

Yesterday I removed the section of baseboard with the sticky turnout, glad I made my layout in 4 foot sections!

The fault was down to a sliver if wood where the actuation rod passed through the board it was acting like a spring.

I do like these slow acting motors from DCC concepts

The opportunity arose to add some more ground work in siding and approach road.

Oh and the stencils from  www.modelrailwayscenery.com.
