Back home after
a short break “Up North” the weather was rather inclement rain snow and blizzards.
The main reason for our trudge north of Biggleswade was to celebrate my daughters
40th birthday. While we were there I had an invite form one of my
old army chums who I served with when we defended the country from the threat
of Soviet invasion in the mid ‘60’s. Alan invited us to stop off for a spot of
lunch during our trip back south. So not to miss a free lunch (only joking) we
headed for South Kirkby to meet up with Alan & Linda. I had the opportunity
to photograph Alan’s railway layouts. Thanks you your hospitality and don’t forget
your both welcome to come and stop over “Darn Sarff”.
It was really great to see you both and thoroughly enjoyed your company...You took some good snaps (snaps..lol)of the layouts it's a pity that in the den it was littered with' work in progress ...Don't forget your welcome here anytime.....and thank you again for your invite Darn sarf!
