I was never happy with the weathering I had to make a decision
on how to progress. The opportunity of another cheap mainline example came my
way. I decided to strip both and rebuild the new addition with a Hornby
bogie and The maroon body shell
will be out shopped as D821 'Greyhound' in BR Maroon with Small Yellow Warning
Panels as preserved on the SVR. The blue body shell will be out shopped as D832
'Onslaught' in BR Green with Small Yellow Warning Panels as preserved by the
ELR Preservation Society.
A slight change of plan D821 'Greyhound' in BR Maroon with full end Yellow Warning Panels circa
2014, D832 'Onslaught' in BR Green with no Yellow Warning Panels circa 1998,
masking Small Yellow Warning Panels was impossible for my modelling skills.
