Eventually solved the mystery of Electrofrog turnouts and DCC! Followed the instructions from my dear friend up north and numerous texts on the internet eventually I succeeded in getting the crossover functioning after a lot of fertiling with the polarity switch!

Just a little update on Dunspendin terminus some track laid and the retaining wall built, I need Oz to come back and redo the end section the brick work is squint!

Looking at the following drawing the chip will need to go in the locomotive and I cannot put pickups on the tender as the wheels are plastic!

Another loco bagged on EBay for £25.99 Airfix LMS class 4F 0-6-0 not in too bad a shape for a 30 odd year model needs a little mechanical TLC body is in near perfect condition. I’ll give it the full service when I chip it.
